Business Profile
FoodPro Restaurant Consulting Services (FPRC) was founded in 2005 to help level the playing field for
independent restaurant operators and small regional chains. We want to serve as your business coach and service partner. We are experts in assisting restaurateurs; not only identifying problems, but providing solutions and answering questions about daily operational challenges, while uncovering opportunities to increase profits. We are an Accredited Member of the Better Business Bureau (BBB) with an A+ rating and a member of the Texas Restaurant Association (TRA) and Greater Austin Restaurant Association (GARA).
Given the business climate caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, our goal is to ensure independent restaurants and multi-unit operators help make the comeback stronger than the setback. There is no time to waste; we have access to the latest information to compete with national chains, increase sales, and operate your restaurant more efficiently to increase your success. We are focused on people and operations and have demonstrated our problem solving aptitude and organizational leadership. We practice excellent communication skills (active listening) and strong analytical abilities. FPRC has proven, hands-on operational experience as General Manager and executive roles in planning, budgeting and P&L responsibility. We also have extensive knowledge of business processes including purchasing, and Human Resource management. Over the course of the last few years, FPRC has been an excellent resource as an advisor, executive coach and facilitator to help grow businesses in the hospitality industry. Our guidance, knowledge, understanding and experience help adapt our approach to improve sales and profits. The past year has been challenging, but our culture remains to improve operationally every day. FPRC has been honored to provide consulting services to incredible entrepreneurs, including an Austin First Plates award winner, a finalist for Best New Restaurant and the Restaurateur of the Year. We have been implementing The Texas Restaurant Promise with our clients to ensure the safety of team members and guests alike. Our efforts
were rewarded by our nomination for the Better Business Bureau Torch Award. We are all excited to see the hospitality business come back to its original state of operations. While the last few months have been difficult, the prospect of getting back to normal is exciting and challenging at the same
time. To insure that operators are back as they should be, it’s important to invest in solutions that eliminate barriers along the way...the difference in operating your business for the long term and getting back up better than before.
We help start-ups in opening; from site selection and business plans to building permits, remodeling, TABC licensing, certificate of occupancy, and all the way thru to the ribbon cutting!
Whether you only need a 3 day business/profit tune-up or seek help with a long term opportunity, we
guarantee to deliver on what you want and expect. Please feel free to contact us by phone, text, or email.

I have a reputation for building management teams focused on achieving revenue goals through high
customer-satisfaction levels, including kitchen and dining room management and design,
implementation of local store and community awareness marketing programs; while improving profit
margins, T.E.A.M. efficiencies and sales. My tenures at Pizza Hut, Kettle Restaurants, Ramada Inn,
Black-eyed Pea, Applebee’s, Golden Chick, and Bush’s Chicken all produced record-breaking sales
or profit increases. Translation: A track record of directing business operations to profitability in
turnaround and high-growth situations.
I am an Elder in the Presbyterian Church, taught confirmation classes and led the Children’s
Education and Mission Team. I am a Stephen Minister, Stephen Ministry Leader, and Outpost Leader
for the HEROES Program, counseling veterans and families. I have been active in the Emmaus
community and served as Community Lay Director and Chairman of the Board for the Eagles’ Wings
group. My wife of 42 years, Kathy, serves as VP of Marketing. Her background includes serving as
Director of Training for franchise groups including Pizza Hut, Church’s Chicken and Ramada Inn.
My Father, Henry Dominguez, Sr., was a decorated WWII veteran and a Bataan defender, Death
March survivor and P.O.W. He was a member of the 21 st Pursuit Squadron,( Ed Dyess’ gallant
fighting men), was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. The Dominguez family was one of
three “5 Star Families” during WWII, serving in the Army and Navy. My Mother, Alicia A. Dominguez-
Machado earned degrees from the University of Texas-Austin and Trinity University in San Antonio.
She served over 25 years in teaching and counseling capacities. My step-dad, Adolfo Machado, was
an RN, serving in the Army, setting up M.A.S.H. units during WWII. My grandfathers were
Presbyterian Pastors in South & Central Texas. I have numerous aunts & uncles who were business leaders and educators in San Antonio, where my Uncle, Fidel L. Tafolla, has a middle school named in his honor as a visionary for the need of vocational education and training.
